For the most part the first half of February provides opportunities
to play in a more carefree way. When you're less self-conscious and
primarily concerned with your own happiness you become more attractive
to others. A friendly, open way of expressing yourself with less concern
about what others think can increase your chances for love. This
favorable pattern is due to the Sun's passage through your 5th House of
Play and Romance that lasts until February 18. There are, though, a
couple of stops along the way that aren't necessarily so easy and
breezy.
Venus, the planet of love and ruler of your charming sign, forms a
tense 90-degree square with expansive Jupiter on February 6 that can
lead to over-indulgence, coming on too strong or over-estimating
someone. Venus joins suspicious Pluto on February 9, which tends to
bring complex issues to the surface (unless you bury them with secrecy
or shame). Power struggles and mistrust are possible, as well as going
to extremes to prove your worth. The positive side of this intense
pattern is getting in touch with your deepest desires and finding the
passion to act on them.
On February 18 Venus squares strict Saturn, which indicates that love
and pleasure are not flowing easily. Feeling under-appreciated or
ignored isn't fun but challenges you to define your needs and set limits
with others.
